About
Founded in 2014, The Tournament specializes in hosting high-stakes, open-to-all sporting events distributed across the world. The Tournament’s first property, The Basketball Tournament (TBT), has crowned eleven champions, awarded more than $15 million in prizes, and ushered in innovations such as the Elam Ending® and its signature postgame bracket celebration, since adopted by the NBA and NCAA respectively. Games air live on Fox Sports. In 2023, The Tournament launched The Soccer Tournament (TST), an open-application, million-dollar, winner-take-all world championship for 7v7 soccer. Dubbed Coachella for Soccer, the event features teams from across the world, including clubs from the English Premier League and Bundesliga, and a million dollar prize for men and million dollar prize for women.
