Overview
The Senior Director, Sales Enablement is responsible for designing and executing strategies, training programs, and resources that empower the sales organization to exceed revenue goals and deliver exceptional client value. This executive leader partners closely with sales, marketing, content, and operations teams to ensure sales representatives have the tools, knowledge, and support needed to excel in a fast-paced, evolving sports media environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead comprehensive sales enablement strategies aligned with business objectives and market opportunities.
- Design and oversee onboarding, training, coaching, and professional development programs for all sales roles (direct, programmatic, sponsorship, etc.).
- Build and maintain a central resource library of content, playbooks, and sales collateral tailored to sports media solutions and client segments.
- Implement and optimize sales enablement tools, platforms, and workflows to drive productivity and pipeline growth.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to ensure alignment between go-to-market strategies, messaging, and sales activities.
- Leverage analytics to measure enablement effectiveness, monitor sales KPIs, and make data-driven improvements in training and resources.
- Foster a learning culture that embraces innovation, feedback, and continuous improvement across the sales organization.
- Serve as an advisor to executive leadership on sales team needs, market trends, and enablement priorities.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of sales enablement, sales leadership, or related experience, with several years in a media, digital, or sports-focused environment.
- Proven success developing and implementing large-scale enablement initiatives that drive business results.
- Deep understanding of media sales processes, sales technology, and go-to-market strategies.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience with CRM, LMS, content management, and sales analytics platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
